Fees
Compared to the other ISPs, CenturyLink has fewer fees. However, the installation fee of CenturyLink is the maximum. If you are going for the prepaid option, you will have to pay up to $125. If you are going for the postpaid option, you will have to pay $90. The installation option is also different depending on the location where you are based. Some sections do not have the self-installation option. Therefore, you may have to compulsorily pay the fee. On the positive side, CenturyLink does not ask its customers to sign any contract. Therefore, customers need not worry about termination fees.
If you choose to opt for the CenturyLink router, you will have to pay $10 per month. Alternatively, you can purchase the router for $150. If you plan to stay with CenturyLink for over 15 months, buying the modem would be the best option.
